17 year old gets arrested for sexual assualt.

So I was reading "seventeen mag" and i read this story of a 17 year old girl and she had met this sophemore are her friends birhtday party. After that day they became good friends and soon became boyfriend and girlfriends. They were boyfriend and girlfriend for about 2 to 3 months when finally they decided to have sex. The girls mother warned her that she should us birth-control and a condom and be responsible so that was what the girl did. They'd do it everynow when there parents weren't at home.
She was happy because she thought she finally though she found someone that loved her and cared for her. However one day at school she was called into the principles office and questioned by the principle "Are you having sexual intercourse with your boyfriend" and she replayed yes. After that he let her go back to class without an explination to anything. Once at home her boyfriend called her saying that the police called him telling him that they were going to arrest her and that he was worried.
Worried and confused she told her mother and they both went to the police station to try and figure out what was goin out. The police told her that since she is 17 and her boyfriend is 15 that, tht ws basically against the law since she was about to turn 18 and that she would appear in court in a few month. At court the judge told her that since she was still a minor but almost an adult he wouldn't give her any charges but she was forbiddin to talk to her boyfrind for 10 months.

My view on this is that the court system right now to taking to much power and listens to much to he rules. They act as if we have to follow the law no matter what even as stupied as it is in this situation. Right now i truely belieave that the government is trying to act like god or some perfect unfeeling robot and not thinking like a humen.

I'm sure that there are like plenty of lawmen and lawyers and judges that are married to someone that are like 4 years older or younger. 4 years isn't a big number when it comes to relationship wise they should it matter for then.

This insident happened to a 18 year old that had a girlfriend that was 16 only 3 years apart and he was arrested spent an entire year in jail and once he got out he was labeled as a "sexual affender" How humilating is that, what they did to that boy is like so un humen and un heartly. Everywhere he goes every neighbor good he moves into they have to know. He wanted to have a job as a firemen he can't now with that unfair title that they gave him. They have pretty much destroyed his life and it'll take forever for him finally get back up. What about the family what do they feel now are they happy or do they regret.

I think that the judging system and law system needs to think more as a humen then the law they need ti follow what they themselves belieave then just what a stupied peice of paper and some ancient words say.
